Terms of Service
Last updated: June 10, 2026
Thank you for using Petit Stay. Please read these terms carefully.
Service Overview
Petit Stay is an online mail-order intermediary platform that helps parents and sitters make requests and transactions directly. In these Terms, “sitter” means a person who provides care independently. Sitters are independent service providers. Petit Stay is not the employer, staff, agent, or representative of any sitter, and is not the direct provider of childcare services. Parents review and choose a sitter directly and send a request, and the actual childcare contract is formed between the parent and the sitter. Petit Stay does not recommend, assign, or one-sidedly connect sitters, and does not guarantee any particular sitter.
Requests, Booking, and Payment
Bookings are received as requests through the platform, and a request goes directly to the sitter the parent chose. The sitter accepts or declines directly, and a sitter's response alone does not automatically finalize every term. Online payment is not currently available; it opens only if and when a PG (payment gateway) approves our structure and paid service begins. No paid transaction occurs before payment is enabled, and you will be able to review price, payment, cancellation, and refund terms before any paid transaction.
Platform fee
When paid service begins, Petit Stay may charge a platform fee (intermediary fee) for the marketplace service. This is not an introduction fee or brokerage commission; it is a fee for providing marketplace tools such as search, requests, records, and support. The exact rate and method will be explained separately when payment features open.
Cancellation and Refunds
We will not over-promise cancellation or refund rights before the paid-service policy is finalized, and we will explain them clearly when paid transactions become available. No paid transactions take place during this early stage.
Service Limitations
Sitters do not provide the following services: overnight stays, pool and beach supervision, vehicle transportation, or medication administration. The target age range is 3–8 years.
Limitation of Liability
Petit Stay acts as an intermediary platform that helps families review, contact, and transact with independent sitters. Liability is determined according to applicable law, each party's role, and the confirmed scope of each transaction. Petit Stay does not guarantee insurance coverage, background checks (criminal record checks), government certification, or national qualifications. Insurance details are under review, and individual insurance availability cannot be guaranteed for each transaction. In the event of a complaint or dispute, Petit Stay may help confirm the relevant facts, support communication between the parties, and confirm records within a reasonable scope. This does not make Petit Stay the employer of the sitter or the direct provider or guarantor of childcare services.
Accounts
Users must provide accurate information and are responsible for account security. Accounts may be restricted if misuse is detected.
Changes to Terms
Changes to these terms will be announced within the service. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
